AI SYSTEMS

AI built into the way the dealer business works.

OOPA Labs designs and integrates agents, automations and applied AI systems around real dealer workflows, with human control, defined boundaries and measurable outcomes.

WHAT WE BUILD

Four connected capabilities.

01 / AGENTS

Defined roles that can reason and act.

Research, retrieval, drafting, tool use and structured handoffs inside clear operating boundaries.

02 / AUTOMATION

Reliable movement between systems.

Triggers, extraction, routing, reporting and repetitive coordination without brittle copy-paste work.

03 / TRANSFORMATION

AI placed where it changes the model.

Opportunity ranking, process redesign, readiness, risk and a credible implementation sequence.

04 / ADOPTION

Systems people can actually run.

Role-specific training, operating playbooks, safety and managerial oversight tied to real work.

AGENT, AUTOMATION OR ASSISTANT?

Use the simplest system the work deserves.

CHATBOT

Conversation

Answers questions but does not own a workflow.

ASSISTANT

Human-led help

Drafts, retrieves and advises while a person remains in control.

AUTOMATION

Rules-based flow

Runs predictable steps when conditions are known.

AGENT

Bounded judgment

Plans and acts across steps, with escalation where judgment matters.

TRANSFORMATION

Redesign where AI belongs.

AI transformation is not a generic strategy deck. We identify high-friction work, rank opportunities, assess data and integration readiness, estimate operating value, define human oversight and build an implementation roadmap.

  • OpportunityWhere does the operating model create avoidable delay, cost or coordination?
  • FeasibilityCan the data, tools and people support a dependable system?
  • ControlWhich decisions can move automatically, and which must remain human?
  • ValueWhat changes if the system works, and how will the outcome be measured?

TRAINING & ADOPTION

Make the system usable by the people who run it.

Training is tied to the operating system, not generic AI theory. We build role-specific guidance, practical playbooks, safety rules, workflow changes and managerial oversight around the tools people actually use.

  • Role-specific enablementTraining grounded in each person's real decisions and workflows.
  • Operating playbooksClear guidance for use, escalation, review and ownership.
  • Managerial oversightWhat leaders should inspect, measure and improve after launch.

DEALER WORKFLOWS

Start with the work that moves the operation.

  • Service operationsWork orders, scheduling, approvals, technician handoffs and customer updates.
  • Warranty operationsClaim readiness, documentation, status, denials and reimbursement visibility.
  • Parts and inventoryRequests, availability, purchasing coordination and exception handling.
  • Customer operationsTriage, response preparation, case routing and structured escalation.
  • Back-office coordinationDocuments, reporting, approvals and recurring work across existing systems.

HUMAN CONTROL

Autonomy is designed, not assumed.

We define approval gates, confidence thresholds, escalation paths, logging, auditability and data boundaries as part of the system itself.

The goal is not maximum autonomy. It is dependable operating leverage with clear accountability.

MAP → PILOT → RUN

Proof before scale.

01 / MAP

Understand the system

Workflow, tools, people, data, risk, economics, integrations and human decision points.

02 / PILOT

Build against reality

One defined user, one real workflow, clear guardrails and measurable evidence.

03 / RUN

Operate what works

Reliability, monitoring, governance, maintenance and improvement after proof.

FAQ

Questions before a first conversation.

What is the difference between an agent and an automation?

An automation follows predictable rules. An agent can make bounded choices across multiple steps and tools. Many useful systems combine both.

Do you replace existing systems?

Usually no. We begin with the tools and operating environment already in place, then add or connect only what the workflow requires.

How do you handle human oversight?

Approval gates, escalation, logging and review are designed around the risk of each decision. Material judgment stays human.

How long does a pilot take?

It depends on workflow depth, integration requirements, data readiness and risk. We define the scope and timeline before building.

Do you provide training?

Yes. Training and operating guidance can be built around the actual system and the people responsible for running it.

Do you work only with small businesses?

No. Fit depends on the operating problem, access to the workflow and the ability to make a measurable change, not a company-size label.

Start with the operating problem.
